Cut: This refers to how well the diamond has been shaped and faceted from its rough state. The cut affects the diamond's symmetry, brightness, fire, and how it reflects light. A well-cut diamond will have more sparkle and brilliance.
Color: Diamonds are graded on a color scale, which ranges from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow or brown). Colorless diamonds are the rarest and most valuable.
Clarity: Clarity measures the presence of internal 'inclusions' or external 'blemishes'. The more inclusions the lower the price of the diamond
Carat Weight: Carat weight is the measure of a diamond's weight, not its size. One carat is equal to 200 milligrams. Larger diamonds are rarer and thus more valuable, but carat weight alone does not determine a diamond's value. It must be considered in conjunction with the other Cs.
