Ruby and Diamond Ring 1.27 Carat Oval Cut Ruby with Brilliant Cut Diamond 18K Yellow Gold
The Ruby and Diamond Ring 1.27 Carat Oval Cut Ruby with Brilliant Cut Diamond 18K Yellow Gold combines rich color with refined diamond craftsmanship. This ring is crafted from 18K yellow gold and set with an oval-cut ruby of 1.07 carat at the center, framed by a halo of 16 brilliant-cut diamonds with a combined weight of 0.20 carat. The striking contrast of the deep red ruby and the sparkling diamond halo makes this piece a timeless choice for both everyday wear and special occasions.

Oval-cut ruby
At the heart of the ring sits a single oval-cut ruby of 1.07 carat, held in a classic prong setting. Its deep, saturated red forms the focal point of the design.

16 brilliant-cut diamonds
The ruby is surrounded by a halo of 16 carefully selected brilliant-cut diamonds with a combined weight of 0.20 carat, each held in its own prong setting. The diamonds have a Top Wesselton color grade and Very Small Inclusions clarity, giving them a bright and refined appearance.

18K yellow gold
The ring is crafted from 18K yellow gold, giving the metal a warm and luxurious shine. The rich yellow-gold tone beautifully complements the red of the ruby and the brilliance of the diamonds, creating a classic, timeless appearance.

Its slim, polished band keeps the focus on the ruby and diamond halo and makes the ring easy to combine with other fine jewelry.

THE FOUR KEY CHARACTERISTICS
The 4C's

The 4C's of a diamond are the four key characteristics that determine the quality and value of a diamond: cut, carat weight, color, and clarity. Together, these four characteristics are used to evaluate the quality and value of a diamond, and are considered when determining a diamond's price.

Carat

The weight of a diamond is expressed in carats and points (1 ct = 100pt). ‘Carats’ come from ‘Carob’ seeds, which were originally used for their constant weight in nature (1 ct = 0.2 g). The carat and the color are the factors that influence the most the final price of the diamond.

Clarity

The clarity is a gemstone's relative freedom from internal imperfections. These imperfections are observed with a x10 magnifier ('loupe') and affect the final value of the diamond differently.

Color

Diamonds are found in nature in different colors. White diamonds can be more or less yellow and are categorised with a letter between D (commonly known as ‘River’) to Z . The different naming systems vary depending on the certifier. Diamonds are also found in all colors; the rarest colors are classified as Fancy-colored diamonds.

Cut

The cut is the diamond’s shape. A cut grade describes the proportions of the cut and the quality of its symmetry and polish. A perfect cut makes the best sparkle.
