3.02 Carat Princess Cut Diamond, WES-H, PURE, HRD Certified

This is a natural princess cut diamond of 3.02 carat, colour Wesselton H, clarity PURE, with an HRD certificate. It comes from Royal Coster Diamonds in Amsterdam, the oldest still operating diamond polishing house in the world, founded in 1840.

The cut. The princess cut is square with sharp corners and a brilliant style facet pattern. It combines the clean outline of a square with the light return of a brilliant. The pointed corners are best protected by a setting with a prong on each corner.

Colour. Wesselton H is near colourless. Face up the stone looks white. A slight warmth only shows when it is compared side by side with a higher colour.

Clarity. PURE means that no inclusions can be found inside the stone under 10x magnification. It is the highest clarity grade in our collection.

Certificate. The diamond was graded by HRD, an independent laboratory. The certificate confirms that the diamond is natural and records its weight, colour, clarity and cut.
