2.54 Carat Oval Cut Diamond, Fancy Vivid Yellow, SI-1, GIA Certified

This is a natural oval cut diamond of 2.54 carat, colour Fancy Vivid Yellow, clarity SI-1, with a GIA certificate. It comes from Royal Coster Diamonds in Amsterdam, the oldest still operating diamond polishing house in the world, founded in 1840.

The cut. The oval is an elongated version of the round brilliant, with the same style of faceting. The longer outline makes it look larger than a round diamond of the same weight.

Colour. This is a natural fancy coloured diamond. The colour is part of the stone itself and is described on the certificate. In fancy diamonds the colour, not the absence of it, determines the value.

Clarity. SI-1 stands for Slightly Included. The inclusions are visible under 10x magnification. Our diamond specialists can tell you where they are located in this stone.
