1.58 Carat Royal 201 Cut Diamond, RIV-D, VS-1, IGI Certified

This is a natural Royal 201 cut diamond of 1.58 carat, colour River D, clarity VS-1, with an IGI certificate. The Royal 201 is available exclusively at Royal Coster Diamonds in Amsterdam, the oldest still operating diamond polishing house in the world, founded in 1840.

The cut. A round brilliant has 57 facets. The Royal 201 has 201. The additional facets split the light that enters the stone into many more reflections, which makes the Royal 201 the most brilliant diamond you can buy anywhere in the world.

Colour. River D is the top of the colour scale and fully colourless. Set in white gold or platinum, the stone shows no tint.

Clarity. VS-1 stands for Very Slightly Included. The inclusions are small enough that they can only be found under 10x magnification. To the naked eye the stone is clean.

Certificate. The diamond was graded by IGI, an independent laboratory. The certificate confirms that the diamond is natural and records its weight, colour and clarity.
