1.16 Carat Pear Cut Diamond, TW-G, PIQ-1, IGI Certified

This is a natural pear cut diamond of 1.16 carat, colour Top Wesselton G, clarity PIQ-1, with an IGI certificate. It comes from Royal Coster Diamonds in Amsterdam, the oldest still operating diamond polishing house in the world, founded in 1840.

The cut. The pear cut is rounded at one end and comes to a point at the other, a combination of the round brilliant and the marquise. The shape is usually worn with the point facing away from the hand, and it is a classic choice for pendants and drop earrings.

Colour. Top Wesselton G sits at the top of the near colourless range. Face up the stone looks white, in white as well as yellow gold.
