Surprising diamond jewelry products
Besides the obvious classics, there are also other types of jewelry that may not have crossed your mind immediately. However, most of these surprising diamond products make great gifts. But if you want to keep them for yourself, I won’t blame you. Some of these are quite the show stopper.
I’ve always been fascinated by brooches. Brooches are a great way to add some sparkle to an outfit. Some people consider brooches outdated (“My grandmother used to wear them
”). But I think brooches are timeless. Especially if you opt for a more modern design, there is no way these are considered outdated.
Piercings are not indispensable in the world of 2020. Whether it is a hidden one or one that’s really “in your face
” (pun intended). Piercings are a perfect way to start to bedazzle yourself even more. After all, you want your piercings to match your other jewelry. This can be your average nose stud, something more lavish like a navel piercing, or even one that is for your partner’s eyes only.
A while ago, I already wrote a piece on diamond jewelry for men
. One of the featured items is diamond cufflinks. I don’t know what it is, but men who wear cufflinks often look more sophisticated. Most men save their cufflinks for special occasions. If you save them, they might as well be quite special. That’s why many gentlemen opt for cufflinks with diamonds in it.
Also called a tie slide, tie bar or tie clasp, the tie clip is a timeless classic. However, many underestimate the use of a tie clip. You use it to clip a tie to the underlying shirt front. This is how you prevent the tie from swinging, resulting in a neat and uniform appearance. Clip the clasp between the third and fourth button and you’re good to go.
Many people confuse the tie clip and the revers pin. Both are often called ‘tie pin’ which makes it more difficult to know which is which. A revers pin is a small pin with some sort of “man brooch” on it, but often a lot smaller. We often see revers pins with one diamond. But there are a lot of different types of revers pins. It’s the ultimate sign of sophistication. At the same time you can use it to express yourself.
Non-jewelry diamond products
Who said the list of surprising diamond products has to stop here? There are plenty of products that look even better with diamonds. We love diamonds and out-of-the-box thinking. Sometimes, this results in unique items. Here are a few we designed. Upon request, we can make almost anything:
Diamond cocktail shaker
Whiskey on the rocks was never so literal. Diamonds and cocktails go hand in hand. Therefore, we decided to make the ultimate bridge between these two. The result was an amazing cocktail shaker with hundreds of brilliant cut diamonds. If you like to throw lavish parties, this cocktail shaker is an absolute ice breaker. That’s what I call a crushed ice effect
– Okay, I’ll stop.
A couple of years ago we were thinking: what do women love besides diamonds and shoes? Well, purses of course! After a little while, a new item sparkled in one of our displays. We created a real diamond clutch. It was made of 18 karat massive gold and adorned with diamonds. Needless to say, it didn’t take long before one lucky lady decided to buy it. It’s a beautiful addition to any formal wear.
Diamond monkey skull
Perhaps you’ve heard of the art project “For the Love of God” from Damien Hirst. This is a platinum skull, covered in 8,601 diamonds with a large pink pear shaped diamond on the forehead: the Skull Star Diamond of 52.40 karats. However, we made something that’s perhaps even more impressive. We created a diamond monkey skull with no less than 17.000 brilliant cut diamonds. If you’re ever in Amsterdam, don’t forget to stop by the Diamond Museum
. Here, this skull is on display and I promise: you will be amazed.
Basically, we can almost make everything on request. Whether it is a diamond tennis racket, a clutch or even something completely outrageous.
