1.60 Carat Pear Cut Diamond, RIV-D, SI-1, GIA Certified

This is a natural pear cut diamond of 1.60 carat, colour River D, clarity SI-1, with a GIA certificate. It comes from Royal Coster Diamonds in Amsterdam, the oldest still operating diamond polishing house in the world, founded in 1840.

The cut. The pear cut is rounded at one end and comes to a point at the other, a combination of the round brilliant and the marquise. The shape is usually worn with the point facing away from the hand, and it is a classic choice for pendants and drop earrings.

Colour. River D is the top of the colour scale and fully colourless. Set in white gold or platinum, the stone shows no tint.

Clarity. SI-1 stands for Slightly Included. The inclusions are visible under 10x magnification. Our diamond specialists can tell you where they are located in this stone.

Certificate. The diamond was graded by GIA, an independent laboratory. The certificate confirms that the diamond is natural and records its weight, colour, clarity and cut.

Setting. We can set this diamond in a ring, earrings or a pendant in 18K white, yellow or rose gold. Our diamond specialists advise you in our boutique in Amsterdam or online.

Please note. The image shows a rendering of this diamond shape, not a photograph of the stone itself, so colour, clarity and proportions of the actual diamond may differ from what you see here. The specifications and the certificate are leading: they describe this exact stone. Our diamond specialists will gladly send you photos or a video of the diamond, or show it to you in our boutique in Amsterdam.
