1.01 Carat Cushion Cut Diamond, CRY-K, PURE, GIA Certified

This is a natural cushion cut diamond of 1.01 carat, colour Crystal K, clarity PURE, with a GIA certificate. It comes from Royal Coster Diamonds in Amsterdam, the oldest still operating diamond polishing house in the world, founded in 1840.

The cut. The cushion cut is square to slightly rectangular with rounded corners, like a cushion seen from above. It is one of the oldest diamond shapes. Its larger facets return the light in broad flashes rather than fine sparkle.

Colour. Crystal K has a faint warm tint that is visible to the eye. It combines well with yellow and rose gold, where the warmth of the metal and the stone match.

Clarity. PURE means that no inclusions can be found inside the stone under 10x magnification. It is the highest clarity grade in our collection.

Certificate. The diamond was graded by GIA, an independent laboratory. The certificate confirms that the diamond is natural and records its weight, colour, clarity and cut.
