EXPOSITION - 18 NOVEMBER 2022 – 6 JANUARI 2023
Since 1840 we have experienced the effect diamonds have on people: when wearing a diamond, the impact goes beyond the aesthetics; it evokes emotion, it connects.
Inspired by that feeling, Royal Coster Diamonds decided fifteen years ago to apply everything we know to create a diamond cut with a unique balance of brilliance and warmth that honors this exceptional emotional bond.
The team of Royal Coster Diamonds has succeeded in finding a cut with no fewer than 201 facets. Harmony of science, art and craftsmanship led to the birth of the Royal 201: a demonstration of technique and the capture of a feeling, an emotional connection.

The exhibition 'An Ode to Perfection' was a tribute to our Royal 201. Five artists have been inspired by the story of the special sharpening method and have made their own tribute to the Royal 201.
Watch the making of their Ode to Perfection from the Royal 201 here:

Katya Gabeli
Violinist, DJ and producer
Katya was educated at the Conservatory and the School of the Arts. She uses her knowledge as a classically trained musician and combines her DJ sets with electric violin improvisation. As a violinist she often plays with other DJs, from House and Techno, to Dubstep and Trance sets. She has been able to share the stage with Armin van Buuren and many others.

Ivan Beusink, Yascha Oosterberg and Diederik Creutzburg
Sous-chefs at RIJKS® restaurant
These three talented chefs have been working together for a long time at RIJKS® restaurant, the restaurant from het Rijksmuseum. Led by executive chef Joris Bijdendijk, they are inspired by ingredients from Dutch soil. They often make use of the many international flavors that have influenced Dutch cuisine over the centuries.

Loes van Delft
Artist
Loes van Delft's paintings combine an innocent whimsical feel with a cheeky cartoon feel. The characters blur the lines between fine brushstrokes and commercialism and are endearing, charming and amazingly lively. Over the years, Loes has developed her very recognizable character, which she calls 'Pjipje'. Her paintings can be seen in various exhibitions around the world.

The Royal 201 Signature C Collection
With the special Royal 201 Signature C Collection Royal Coster Diamonds celebrates the essence of the Royal 201: emotional connection.
The Royal 201 Signature C Collection has a unique open setting designed exclusively for the Royal 201 cut. This open setting allows light to pass through and maximizes brilliance.

The letter C manifests itself at the heart of the design: Not only a reference to our name – trusted and renowned diamond house since 1840, it is also a reference to quality. The 4 C's that indicate the quality of diamonds in the industry and to the '5th C' in Coster's diamonds: trust (Confidence). The C in the design is designed so that the opposite ends act as a base, creating a perfect stage for the diamonds to sparkle.
A wonderful starting point for maximizing the effect of our perfectly cut diamond, always supporting the emotional impact of the Royal 201 itself.
The Royal 201 Signature C Collection will be available exclusively at Royal Coster Diamonds from November 18.
